I happened upon a social media post by a member of this organization. They're taking on a case against a state government, or more specifically, they're representing an entrepreneur who isn't a licensed psychologist and is publishing literature (or other kind of media) which contains information that purportedly is meant to help people with childhood trauma they've experienced. The state's requirements has that there needs to be adequate licensing in the field to charge money for a product of the kind but the challenge is that there's gov't intrusion on free speech.

That's the gist of it anyway, from what I gathered. I don't really care though. People in general can misunderstand me and the position I take on certain issues related to social/human services field. Quite often, as with the case I mention, there's an underlying "cultural appropriation" (from what I understand of the scenario) in which the person peddling the self-help program offers advice on a topic, which may be understood by the person in their own experience, but there's no "peer review", or at least I can't inspect the information without buying into the scam. It seems more like a cult business with legal issues.

Who am I to make this judgement? I'm the one publishing this website, as well as a number of others, and I have a Fourteenth Amendment right to equal protection of law by the U.S. Constitution and documented crimes committed against me that are ignored. I'm not asking for any kind of compensation, just the acknowledgement that there was intentional abuse committed against me by people working in the field of multi-unit residential property management in spite of, or because of, the fact that I'm on disability. There's some insinuation that there must be some sort of problem with me to support an idea that the crimes committed against me were justifiable, or I'm just being a whiner since I survived so it must've not been all that bad (kinda thing). No one ever stops to think that maybe I'm not the only victim of the corporate abuse but I'm able to document and publish evidence. I do everything I can think of within reason to communicate rationale behind what I do. I've mentioned a number of times to a number of people working in relatable professional fields that I've been specifically & purposefully educated by people who hold masters degrees and doctorates, both medical and arts & sciences, and I am doing righteous by them. I am doing exactly what I'm supposed to do.
